Ministries

Radio Ministry
Hear our pastor preach God's Word on KSLR  AM 630 at 12:30p on Saturdays and at 10:30a on Sundays.

Sunday School
We currently offer three adult classes, a college & career class, and a traditional program for all ages of children and teens.

Nursery
Both infant and toddler nurseries are available for all regular services.

Children/Junior Church Services
This opportunity for children ages 4-11 dismisses during the Sunday morning service and provides more age-specific illustration and instruction.

Youth Group
Junior-high and senior-high students are active in a balanced program which combines Biblical teaching, prayer support, and monthly activities all designed to grow and equip the next generation for Christ.

Choir and Orchestra
Each Sunday service is complemented through the ministry of these groups. Through traditional and vibrant music, our hearts are drawn to Christ and prepared to receive the preaching of God's Word.

Women's Ministries
  • Missionary Meeting - women of the church gather together to support church-sponsored missionaries with letters and prayer.
  • Bible Study - monthly meetings for Bible study and fellowship.

Men's Ministries
  • Man Camp - A retreat for all men 4th-grade and up. A wonderful time to build strong fellowship through outdoor acitivies and challenges from God's Word.
  • Ushering - An opportunity for men to assist in the service by greeting visitors, helping others find seats, and collecting the offering.
  • Sporting events - Throughout the year, men in the church will participate in sports for a time of fun and fellowship.
  • Souper Tuesday - A Bible message, a meal, and completing work projects around the facilities - That's Souper Tuesday! Held periodically.
Library
It is important to have solid materials available for Christian growth and study. We are thankful for the wide variety of help that is available through our library.

Visitation Days
A brisk walk around a local neighborhood placing door-knob hangers with a gospel tract and an invitation to visit our church. This can also include a few visits to recent visitors of the church.

Church-Wide Outings
Our annual picnic is a favorite memory each year. We also make a trip to see the Missions play a minor-league baseball game.

Audio/Visual Ministry
CDs, & DVDs are available of church services upon request. What a great way to re-visit a presentation of God's truth or to share excitement with others about God's working in your life!

Camps
Week-long camps for both juniors and teens are offered each summer. We love camp!

Mini-VBS
One Saturday each summer is devoted to a VBS-type program. Crafts, missionary story, games, snacks, a Bible lesson, and lunch bring our church together in outreach and fellowship.

Special Meetings and Services
From time to time throughout the year we have special speakers, evangelists, missionaries, and college groups come and minister to the church through music, teaching, and preaching.

Rescue Mission
Every Monday evening, burdened men of the church minister to the men of the San Antonio Rescue Mission. Our men lead singing, preach the Word of God and counsel men who seek help.

Assisted Living Ministry
Once a month members of the church are invited to minister in song to the elderly in an assisted-living home.
